Having lived in Wyoming and Colorado must of her life, Mar has always felt it was a special privilege to be surrounded by the landscape, history and animals of the West.  

Photographing and painting on site she and her husband have hiked and  backpacked in Wyoming, Colorado, Utah, New Mexico and Utah.  The paintings that have be developed from these trips  are reliving some of the special places they have experianced. Over the years they have made annual  trips to Southern California for painting sessions on the beaches and visiting museums & galleries. 

Through classes at Scottsdale School of Art and courses with Scott Christensen which helped develop her own honest straight forward style of representational art.  She is represented by Native Gallery in Jackson Hole, Wy. and invited to the Quick Draw in the Jackson Hole Fall Arts Festival.
